The house was about two weeks old at this point, but we figured missing pictures of a hole in the ground was no big deal.

This house is being built from scratch, as you can tell. It's also the tallest house on the entire block--most are the size of the one you see to the left. We insisted that the large elm in front be kept, though they did have to trim some branches.
Looking up the stairs from the front door.
Looking through what will later be the downstairs bathroom to the family room window. The kitchen is on the right.
Standing at the back of the stairs and looking at the kitchen window and pantry.
Standing in the dining room looking out at the family room. Eventually this will have a cathedral ceiling--when it gets its ceiling!
The view of the backyard from the big window--but hopefully without the hill of dirt and boards in the future.
The family room from outside. There will be a glass patio door and deck where the big hole is.
From the back. The kitchen window is to the left, and there will be a deck in the space between that and the family room.
The upstairs from beside the house. Gives a bit of perspective on just how big the house--and tree!--are.
