Regarding Model Warmblood Breed Assignment...

What is a Warmblood Anyway?

Going by this article's criteria, our practice of having purebred European warmblood models is incorrect. However, for simplicitity I have decided on the following:
If a model is bred from real horses, I will choose parents that have produced a foal that has been approved by a registry (i.e. Hanoverian or Trakehner). The resulting foal will be that "breed" and considered a purebred for PA and showing purposes to make all our lives easier.
If a model is bred from model parents, I will go by the sire & dam owner's "breed" assignment.
Other sport types, such as Appaloosa and Pinto Sporthorses and AWBs, will show the lines they were bred from in their descriptions but since I would choose to register them as such in real life, that is their "breed assignment". For more information on these registries, see:

Apparently the International Pinto Sporthorse Registry no longer exists.
I have sent them two snail-mail letters w/SASE asking for more information with no reply.
I have changed the breed assignment of all former WMHS "Pinto Sporthorses"
to something more realistic, mostly AWBs, and will no longer allow
'Pinto Sporthorses' to be bred from my models.
