Models for Sale/Trade

All named & pedigreed models come with 3-generation pedigrees upon request (NOTE: if you do not want the pedigree I would like to keep it, so please let me know). All models have seams & molding marks sanded & repaired and have been coated with clear matte fixative spray for protection. Any models larger than Little Bit/Pebbles size have their ears and any raised hooves carved out. Models are guaranteed unless terms state otherwise; if not satisfied, contact me within 15 days of reciept for a full refund (minus all shipping costs) upon return of model provided you ship the model back insured for the full amount of purchase.  Guarantee void if model is shown or altered in any way in the 15 day period. Models' full show records provided upon request. For models that come with digital photos, write me at the email address provided <wildwing@feldnet.org> and let me know if you would like them put up on the web for download or emailed direct, and if you would like the pedigree and full show record file and, if so, what format (I keep everything in MS Word).

TACK

Classic Brown Huntseat Set by Unknown. Very nice LSQ brown huntseat set that I've had since about 1998, I believe. I commissioned it to be made and have since forgotten who made it, but it's very well done and sturdy. It is, however, more of a beginner's set though I've been using it in Open competition for the last 5 years or so. Stirrup straps are a single piece of leather glued around the stirrup rather than the real assembly and are not adjustable. The flaps are hand-cut and a single layer of leather rather than doubled back and sewn. The bridle is fully adjustable and has keepers for every buckle (no tongues, slide buckles). Stirrups are bent and shaped metal rather than cast, but fit most dolls' feet very well. Bit is ring and bead rather than cast, but has not--and should not--tarnish. Includes a plain felt saddle pad. I highly recommend this set for a performance beginner, as it's very sturdy and nicely made at a reasonable price. I'm tough on tack and this set has taken all my abuse and come thorugh with flying colors. The ONLY reason I am selling it is because I was able to trade for a set that is double-folded and sewn and has real stirrup leathers, which works better for using a doll rider. This set was designed to fit the Classic USET set, also fits the Classic Black Stallion set, Classic Arabian adults, new QH mare, and most other larger Classics. Does NOT fit the Classic racehorses.
